Senior Tester - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Role

The purpose of the role is to participate in the planning of test strategies and approaches, as well as performing data and test case preparation, execution, and results analysis for all digital projects, enabling successful deployment and launch.

The role also involves delivering relevant documentation that captures the needs and requirements of specific functionalities and projects.

Who are we?

Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund for the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we serve over 400,000 members including teachers, education staff, and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Finalize transition and failback plans based on test outcomes and contribute to implementation reports.
• Collaborate with the development team on proof of concept testing.
• Perform end-to-end testing of system integrations, functionalities, and user interfaces.
• Log, track, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage test data, reporting, and documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Develop and share test completion reports and knowledge documents for training.
• Support automation testers and assist with training and coaching of UAT testers.
• Liaise across all levels of the organization and contribute to project reviews.
• Maintain high standards of communication and testing practices.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies
• Experience with test management and defect management tools
• Minimum 7+ years of testing experience
• Experience testing cloud-based applications and digital transformation projects
• Experience with Salesforce applications
