Job summary

MECCA Brands is seeking a Test Lead to own quality across five squads (three web, two app). This hybrid role blends hands-on testing with people leadership, guiding a team of Test Analysts and Test Engineers while shaping testing strategy early in discovery and design.

You will drive shift-left testing for performance, accessibility and automation, partner with the Automation Lead, and stay hands-on with CI/CD, observability tools, and QA practices across the product suite including PDP uplift

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Test Lead guiding testers.
• Proactive early engagement in discovery and design.
• People management across multiple squads.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Test Analysts and Test Engineers across 5 squads.
• Join discovery/design to identify quality risks early.
• Champion shift-left testing for performance, accessibility, resilience and automation.
• Partner with Automation Lead on automation, performance and accessibility testing.
• Own quality outcomes with a 50/50 split of manual and automated testing.
• Be the central testing communicator with Tech Leads and Product Managers.
• Stay hands-on with automation and CI/CD in an agile environment.
• Incorporate observability into the team’s testing approach with engineering.
• Support quality across projects including PDP uplift and fulfilment features.
