Job summary

The University of Canberra is seeking a Senior Advisor, Tenders to join our Research Grants and Tenders team in Bruce. You will drive tender submissions, manage contracts, and provide expert guidance on opportunities to secure strategic research partnerships and support the university’s research excellence.

Successful candidates will have proven tender writing, contract management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Tender writing experience and ability to develop high-quality submissions.
• Bid and contract management knowledge with persuasive writing skills.
• Strong writing/editing abilities for proposals and tender docs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Experience in higher education, government, research or consultancy sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of high-quality tender submissions.
• Manage Tender contracts and agreements and provide expert advice on Tender opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across UC to deliver high-quality services.
• Stakeholder management for externally funded tenders, liaising with faculties.
• Provide documental support to UC’s Innovation Committee.
• Maintain UC’s access to tender and contract management systems and panels.
