Job summary

The University of Canberra is recruiting a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Advisor, Tenders to join our Research Grants and Tenders team. This role focuses on securing strategic research partnerships and supporting the University's research excellence.

Key responsibilities include coordinating tender submissions, managing contracts, and advising on tender opportunities across UC. We value collaboration with faculties and strong documentation and system-management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender writing, bid and contract management.
• Strong writing and editing skills for persuasive tender submissions.
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts and agreements.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Analytical and project coordination capabilities.
• Experience in higher education, government, research or consultancy sectors is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of high-quality tender submissions.
• Manage tender contracts and agreements and provide expert advice on tender opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across UC to deliver high-quality services.
• Stakeholder management for identifying and managing externally funded tenders in collaboration with faculties.
• Provide documental support to UC’s Innovation Committee.
• Maintain UC’s access to tender and contract management systems and panels.
