Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Engineer to lead the design, integration and delivery of cutting-edge telecommunications systems across a diverse portfolio, with a focus on Data Centres and Aviation.

You will join a dynamic team delivering mission-critical solutions across Australia and Asia, mentoring engineers and engaging with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering mission critical projects in Telecommunications/ICT
• Experience in data centres, transport, healthcare and/or aviation preferred
• Experience in Australia within an engineering consultancy is essential

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the team
• Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
• Lead small to medium-sized design projects and support larger, complex programmes, ensuring technical excellence, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
• Prepare technical documentation and manage construction phase services
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and project delivery standards
• Support commissioning activities
