Infosys in Sydney is seeking a Senior Technology Architect to lead automation across IP engineering workflows, delivering scalable solutions and guiding teams. The role emphasizes problem-solving, continuous learning, and customer-focused outcomes within a hybrid work model.

The position offers a competitive salary range (AUD 142,760–160,266 annual gross) and a collaborative environment that values process improvement, governance, and long-term sustainment of automation services.

Responsibilities

• Architect automation capabilities for IP Engineering workflows to improve efficiency.
• Design and implement automation for IP device configuration with Ansible.
• Define end-to-end workflow orchestration, integrating APIs and provisioning systems.
• Lead integration of automation with OSS platforms for interoperability.
• Establish PostgreSQL-based persistence for workflow tracking and analytics.
• Handover and train staff, providing governance and best practices for adoption.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Architected and delivered automation capabilities for IP Engineering workflows, improving operational efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enabling scalable network operations for a leading telecommunications provider.
• Designed, validated, and implemented automation solutions for IP device configuration management, leveraging Ansible playbooks and orchestration frameworks to standardize deployments, improve consistency, and accelerate service delivery.
• Defined and governed end-to-end workflow orchestration architecture, integrating APIs, provisioning systems, and network management platforms to automate network engineering and service activation processes.
• Led the integration of automation solutions with existing OSS platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability across network operations, provisioning, monitoring, and inventory management systems.
• Established a robust PostgreSQL-based persistence architecture, enabling workflow tracking, auditability, operational reporting, and analytics to support automated engineering processes.
• Directed operational handover, knowledge transfer, and training for customer-designated personnel, providing architecture guidance, governance frameworks, support documentation, and best practices to ensure successful adoption and ongoing sustainment of automation services.
