Job summary

Infosys ANZ in Melbourne is seeking an experienced IT consulting professional to join our consulting team. You will diagnose customer issues, design innovative solutions, and facilitate deployment to deliver client delight.

You will develop proposals, plan configuration activities, and prepare effort estimates aligned with budget and internal guidelines. Strong Java, Appian, and cloud experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in IT/CS or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT consulting and solution deployment.
• Strong experience with Appian BPM and Java-centric enterprise apps.

Salary range: AUD 108,571- 119,893 (Annual Gross)

A day in the life of an Infoscion-

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions, and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the configuration activities, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design.
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates that suit the customer budgetary requirements and align with the organization’s financial guidelines.
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with the objective of providing high-quality value-adding solutions to customers. Work Experience: 5+ years of experience

Essential skills:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• Primary skills: Business Process Management-> Appian; L1/L2 and/or L3 Certification.
• At least three years of experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of large-scale Java-centric enterprise application systems.
• Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation, and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.
• Ensure continual knowledge management, Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.

Preferred skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in Design and development in Appian with good exposure in latest versions
• Hands on experience creating process maps, design and development of process and related components in any of above technologies.
• Should have very good experience in Appian Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Expression Rules, Functions, Records, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart Services
• Design and build of low code Applications, Experience in handling requirements, Demos and technical solution including high- and low-level design of Java interfaces, Exposure to integration with Custom UI.
• Exposure to setting up and managing the environment on cloud.
• Exposure to working in multiple parallel projects, delivery governance.
• Ability to define (add/modify) new architectures and anchor review of artifacts.
• Development of Java Spring boot API Services
• Experience in JSON, XML, XML parsers, and XSL.
• Experience working with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases: database sizing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Configuration of Web Server Application like Weblogic/Websphere.
• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability.
• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
• Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to collaborate.
• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest the technology solutions.
• One or two industry domain knowledge
• Technical Project and Team management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
