Job summary

Criterion Industries Pty in Glendenning, New South Wales, is seeking a dedicated Technical Product Engineer to join our team. This permanent, full-time role ensures the successful development and optimisation of our product lines, acting as the technical link between customers, Sales, Customer Service, Estimating, Drafting and Production for non-standard requirements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks design.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work with technical users.
Identify training needs and develop solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop practical technical solutions for special orders.
Create customer approval drawings and production/shop drawings.
Provide technical input into project planning, cost estimates, material requirements and sourcing solutions.
Create and maintain accurate product codes, BOMs and supporting technical documentation.
Take ownership of technical queries and coordinate their resolution with internal teams.
