Job summary

Lookahead is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead product development for APAC from Australia. You’ll blend technical product management with customer discovery, translating local requirements into clear priorities and a scalable roadmap.

As the first product hire in Australia, you’ll collaborate with engineering, delivery and commercial teams to shape APIs, data flows and integrations, and coach stakeholders through discovery, launch and iteration. Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in product management for B2B software.
• Proven ability to ship APIs/data-intensive products.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading discovery, launch and iteration.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows and trade-offs.
• Willingness to travel interstate/international.

Responsibilities

• Shape the product direction and roadmap for expansion into APAC, balancing regional requirements with the broader platform strategy.
• Lead discovery with customers and end users to understand their workflows, constraints and unmet needs.
• Turn complex operational problems into clear requirements, priorities and success measures.
• Work closely with engineers on APIs, data flows and integrations with existing customer systems.
• Test ideas through prototypes, design partnerships and pilots, using AI tools where useful.
• Partner with delivery and customer-facing teams to identify product gaps and support adoption.
• Define and track outcomes such as reduced manual effort, faster processing, improved accuracy and increased usage.
• Iterate on product-market fit, using customer feedback and evidence to refine what gets built.
• Some international and interstate travels will be required
