Job summary

FlexTrade Systems in Sydney seeks a Senior Technical Analyst to join our Mottai team and ensure high standards of technical service to clients using FlexTrade products. You will engage with clients, development and QA teams to maintain strong technical relationships and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent
• 5–7+ years in client interaction and support
• Linux/Unix, Shell-scripting, Perl, Python, C, C++
• Good communication skills (written & oral)
• Detailed knowledge of the FIX protocol
• Experience with EMS/ OMS/ trading platforms is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to define and understand business/workflow requirements
• Act as primary technical contact for new requirements, support, and project deliverables
• Coordinate communications between clients and project management/development teams
• Respond to reports of problems via phone and email
• Troubleshooting and investigating to create appropriate solutions
• Publish RCA notes after investigations
• On-board client/broker connections to the FIX network
• Implement and test FX liquidity providers on the FlexTrade engine
