Job summary

The Technical Analyst in Peter Mac's Digital & Connected Health team will provide technical analysis, solution design and integration expertise to support digital health initiatives. You will translate clinical and research needs into interoperable solutions, focusing on HL7, FHIR and API-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare systems, data life cycle, interoperability standards and integration technologies.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR and API-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery and requirements analysis for Digital Health initiatives.
• Analyse business, data, integration and non-functional requirements; translate into technical specs.
• Develop solution options and interface specifications between systems.
• Apply HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and APIs to support interoperable designs.
• Assess interoperability requirements; ensure scalable, secure solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners to align with architecture and governance.
• Support procurement and vendor evaluation through technical assessment.
• Identify security, privacy, and operational risks and mitigation strategies.
