Job description

This position is responsible for supporting the P&C team in regard to the internal Talent Acquisition function for the SG Fleet business.

Role Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting the People & Culture function with regards to IT, Finance and other specialised talent acquisition across SG Fleet’s Australian and New Zealand operations. In doing so, this role works closely with varying levels of management across the organisation to ensure 'best practice' methodologies in recruitment, selection and talent planning are adopted and maintained.

Operating as an autonomous, consultative talent advisor, this role combines strategic stakeholder coaching with advanced direct sourcing methodologies including structured generative AI sourcing. A primary focus is building sustainable talent pipelines that support SG Fleet’s ongoing digital evolution, enterprise automation, and mobility solutions, all while fostering cross-border collaboration and delivering an exceptional candidate journey.

Key Accountablities

• Drive the strategic end-to-end recruitment function across Australia and New Zealand, including proactive market engagement and compelling role marketing
• Proactive innovative sourcing & Pipeline Development - Identify, map, and nurture active and passive talent pipelines for critical, recurring, and niche roles across the region's business units.
• Partner with functional, technical, and operational business leaders to source and secure specialist capabilities that advance SG Fleet’s fleet management platforms, digital mobility solutions, and enterprise innovation initiatives.
• Stakeholder guidance and coaching with hiring managers at all levels regarding best-practice recruitment, market conditions, assessment frameworks, and candidate engagement standards.
• Candidate experience excellence to ensure every candidate interaction reflects SG Fleet's employer brand, delivering transparent communication, timely feedback, and a professional, respectful hiring experience.
• ATS administration and process rigour through the provision of comprehensive administrative management across the recruitment lifecycle, maintaining accurate records, compliance data, talent pools, and candidate records within SG Fleet’s enterprise ATS Hi Bob.
• Support and contribute to the implementation of various talent, employer branding, and employee experience projects as required. Deliver on recruitment campaigns to build long-term talent communities for upcoming and emerging organisational capabilities.

Skills and Experience

• Advanced Sourcing Capability: In-depth knowledge of direct sourcing techniques, talent mapping, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X-Ray, and active talent community building.
• Previous experience within an internal talent acquisition function is a pre-requisite to be considered for this role.
• Modern Tooling & AI Fluency: Practical understanding of or keen aptitude for using modern sourcing tools, candidate relationship management systems, and generative AI prompting to streamline talent identification and outreach.
• Highly developed advisory and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead role calibration briefings, challenge constructively, and influence hiring decisions across varied managerial tiers.
• Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline ore equivalent substantial practical experience.
