Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Senior System Support Officer to support clinical information systems critical to patient care. You will investigate incidents, configure and maintain ICT solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements.

You will work with a specialist technical team supporting the Laboratory Information System and related applications, providing expert technical advice and facilitating new implementations across Queensland Health.

Qualifications

Broad information technology knowledge across clinical areas.
Ability to analyse issues and develop collaborative solutions with minimal direction.
Experience providing excellent client service within an IM/ICT framework.

Responsibilities

Investigate and manage incidents relating to the Laboratory Information System.
Install, configure, document, validate and maintain ICT solutions.
Assist with interfaces connecting laboratory instruments and other systems.
Share pathology and system knowledge to ensure LIS is used effectively.
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to identify improvements and support service delivery.
