Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking Principal Systems & Cyber Security Specialists to drive system and cyber security outcomes for nationally significant defence projects in Adelaide. You will lead security assessment work and maintain artefacts such as SSP, SSP-A, SRMP, and CMP while evaluating both existing and in-development systems for security controls.

The role may include technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring across a growing cyber team as part of Raytheon Australia’s defence programs.

Qualifications

• Certifications in cyber security or related IT field (e.g. CompTIA, ISACA, ISC2, Microsoft).
• University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Exposure to security tools, vulnerability scanning, or incident response.

Responsibilities

• Execute security assessment and authorization activities.
• Prepare and maintain cybersecurity artefacts (e.g., SSP, SSP-A, SRMP, CMP).
• Analyse existing systems and systems under development and implement security controls.
