Job summary

Perigon Group Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to own the core IT infrastructure and act as the senior technical escalation point. This hands-on role requires expertise in server administration, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization, and security, balancing ongoing support with infrastructure improvement projects.

You’ll maintain system performance, security and availability while contributing to upgrades, cloud initiatives and business improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Level 3/Senior Systems Administrator roles in a on-prem environment.
• Strong expertise across Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
• Strong networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching.
• Experience supporting VMware, Hyper-V, cloud platforms and enterprise security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage virtualisation platforms, backups, disaster recovery and system security
• Support and optimise network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers and VPNs
• Lead troubleshooting of complex infrastructure and application issues
• Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology projects
• Participate in an on call roster
