Job summary

Switchboard Manufacturing in Sydney seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple projects through the full engineering cycle, from design through fabrication, testing and installation.

Based in Sydney, you will oversee detailed engineering design, procurement, construction monitoring, and contracts administration while controlling project finances. You will ensure on-time delivery, keep within scope and budget, and maintain strong client relationships across national facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical trade qualifications or engineering qualifications.
• Experience managing switchboard projects is essential.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and reviewing detailed engineering design.
• Procurement of equipment with best price method.
• Monitor construction of products in factory liaising with production for efficient build.
• Contracts administration, contracts management and project scheduling.
• Financial controlling of projects.
• Forecasting and reporting to management on projects controlled.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and confidence.
