Job summary

The Principal Consultant for the Anthesis STaR team in Australia leads complex sustainability engagements, delivers senior-level client advisory, and provides technical leadership on reporting and governance. Based in Australia, you will manage projects, nurture client relationships, and guide strategic outcomes across the region.

You will mentor senior and junior consultants, contribute to service growth, and build internal capability.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in sustainability, finance, risk, or governance.
6+ years in sustainability advisory or related fields.
Experience leading teams and client engagements.
Knowledge of frameworks (GRI, SASB, IR, TCFD, ISSB, ESRS) and governance practices.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end sustainability consulting engagements with governance, reporting, and strategy.
Provide senior-level technical oversight and quality assurance on deliverables.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships and advise on reporting and sustainability strategy.
Draft, review, and present high-quality reports, presentations, and workshops in line with project scope.
Lead business development, proposals, and growth of STaR offerings and tools.
