Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking a Senior Imprest Officer to join the Operational Support Services team on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on the efficient operation of the physical distribution of Clinical Consumables within the hospital network.

You will manage delivery functions, oversee Imprest storage, lead a team, and utilise applicable software to ensure accurate data and reporting, contributing to world-class health care in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience with S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks as required.
• Vaccination and health screening requirements are part of recruitment.
• Background checks including criminal history may be required.

The Senior Imprest Officer will undertake a range of tasks associated with the effective operation of the physical distribution of Clinical Consumables.

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Supply Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures
• Manage delivery functions, in accordance with schedules and requirements to meet customer needs
• Oversee the maintenance of Imprest storage
• Be able to lead a team and promote relationships with supplier and internal customers to ensure full-service outcomes
• Utilise software applications applicable to the position, including accurate input, reporting and maintenance of data

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Demonstrated experience in the use of S/4HANA or similar
• Movement and physical suitability to perform the manual handling tasks
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

• Base salary ranging from $2,917.10 - $3,190.50 per fortnight
