We're seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor with a strong civil construction background and proven experience in marine works, particularly rockwall and breakwater construction.

You’ll take a lead role in coordinating and supervising day-to-day site activities, managing labour, plant and subcontractors, and ensuring construction works are delivered safely, to specification, within program and budget. Working closely with project management, engineering teams and site personnel, you'll drive productivity, maintain high standards of safety and environmental performance, and help build a positive, accountable site culture.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on construction leader to bring their technical knowledge and practical site experience to a complex marine infrastructure project.

  • Drive a strong safety, environmental and quality culture, ensuring hazards are managed and all works comply with project requirements and the McConnell Dowell Integrated Management System.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify risks and potential variations, maintain accurate site records and provide timely reporting to project management.
  • Mentor and support supervisors and site personnel, promoting teamwork, productivity, accountability and continuous improvement across the project.

  • Demonstrated experience in civil and marine construction, with rockwall and breakwater construction experience highly regarded and strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and resources, and deliver construction activities safely, efficiently and in line with program and quality requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety, environmental and quality requirements, supported by effective communication, planning and problem-solving skills. A relevant trade qualification is desirable.
What’s in it for you?
  • Specialist project experience: Play a key role in delivering complex marine construction works, including rockwalls and breakwaters.
  • FIFO 2:1 roster: Enjoy a structured work and time-off cycle, flying from Perth.
