Job summary

Sedgman Pty Limited, part of the CIMIC Group, is seeking a Senior Study Manager in Australia to lead studies, proposals and business opportunities within the mineral processing sector.

You will provide strategic technical and commercial leadership, manage study execution with multidisciplinary teams, and drive opportunities from study through to execution while strengthening client partnerships.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in mineral processing, project development, or project delivery.
• Experience leading studies from scoping through feasibility.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Balance of technical rigour with commercial thinking.
• Clear, persuasive, and confident communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of studies that are safe, commercially sound, and technically robust.
• Develop proposals, tenders, study reports, and business cases to maximise value.
• Provide strategic technical and commercial leadership for opportunities.
• Manage study execution including planning, resources, budgets, schedules, risk.
• Oversee cost estimates and contracting approaches aligned with objectives.
• Build trusted client relationships as a strategic advisor.
• Support transitions from study to engineering and execution.
• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and expanding client networks.
