Job summary

Sedgman Prudentia Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Project Manager with hands-on experience across conceptual studies to detailed design, execution and commissioning in the minerals processing sector. You will lead multi-disciplinary project teams, manage stakeholder relationships with Tier 1 to startup clients, and ensure scope, budget and schedule are aligned across projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience in mining, minerals processing, energy, and chemicals.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering consulting environment.
• Relevant Engineering degree (Process or mechanical background strongly desired).
• Project management certification (PMP, AIPM, APM).
• Experience leading multidiscipline project teams through all phases from conceptual design to detailed engineering.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the effective delivery of programs or portfolios from conceptual design through to detailed design, execution and commissioning.
• Build, develop, and grow stakeholder relationships across long-term and repeat client base.
• Work with clients with diverse project requirements (Tier 1 to Start-up).
• Proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
• Lead the job/project/study team, including contractors, through setting tasks, expectations, scope and guidance to completion.
• Lead effective meetings and represent the Company in communications pertaining to project aspects.
• Develop or review scope, budget, and schedule dependencies and constraints.
