Job summary

Sedgman Prudentia is seeking a Senior Project Manager with hands-on experience across conceptual studies to detailed design, for delivery in the mining and mineral processing sectors. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and build strong client relationships across Tier 1 to startup projects.

With 15+ years in the industry and at least 5 years in an engineering consulting environment, you will hold a relevant engineering degree and project management

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience in mining, minerals processing, energy, and chemicals.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering consulting environment.
• Project management certification (PMP, AIPM, APM).
• Leading multidiscipline project teams including cross functional support.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the effective delivery of programs or portfolios of jobs/projects/studies from conceptual design through to detailed design, execution and commissioning.
• Build, develop, and grow stakeholder relationships across our long term and repeat client base.
• Ability to work with clients with diverse project requirements (Tier 1 to Start-up).
• Proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
• Lead the job/project/study team, including contractors, through setting tasks, expectations, scope and providing guidance through all phases to completion.
