Primero in Perth recruits a Lead Structural Engineer to drive the structural design for mining and mineral processing projects. You will lead a design team across early concept to commissioning, reporting to the Structural Discipline Engineering Manager, and work from our new Perth head office near the city.

The role requires 10+ years in structural engineering, strong leadership, and hands-on use of Space Gass and Strand7. WA-based with future client and site exposure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (IE Aust) required.
• 10+ years’ structural engineering experience in mining/mineral processing.
• Proven leadership of structural teams on small to medium projects.
• Experience with structural design software Space Gass and Strand7.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Site experience during construction is advantageous.

• Deliver structural engineering design solutions for mining/mineral processing projects.
• Lead structural engineering and design teams on small to medium sized projects.
• Undertake structural engineering design for projects.
• Ensure designs comply with legislation, standards and client requirements.
• Ensure designs meet budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for integrated outcomes.
• Engage with clients, vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
