Job summary
Hatch is seeking an accomplished Senior Structural Engineer in Brisbane to provide technical leadership across mining and industrial projects. The role delivers brownfield and greenfield work, supports project execution, client engagement, and the development of engineering capability within the team.

Qualifications
- Chartered Structural Engineer with extensive experience in mining, minerals processing, ports, and infrastructure.
- Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams with safety, quality and delivery focus.
- Ability to mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence across projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for structural engineering on mining and heavy industrial projects.
- Lead the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and foundations for process plants and ports.
- Develop criteria, calculations, reports, and construction support documentation to meet standards and client needs.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, process, and other disciplines to deliver scope on time and within budget.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to governance, digital engineering, and 3D design practices.
