Job summary

Northrop Consulting Engineers in Newcastle is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead project teams, taking ownership of the technical delivery of structural schemes across commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate design reviews, mentor junior engineers and drive projects from concept to construction while maintaining schedule and budget in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

6-10 years of experience as Structural Engineering Consultant in the Australian market.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering and ideally CPEng certified.
Knowledge of ETABS, RC Building, RAM Concept, RAPT, Inducta Packages and SpaceGass highly valued.
Delivering projects across residential/health/education/commercial/industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical delivery of a wide range of structural projects including commercial, residential, fit-out, aged care and educational facilities.
Lead projects from concept to construction with client coordination and reviews.
Manage project costings and monitor budgets and schedules.
