Job summary

Building Services Recruitment Australia is assisting a nationally recognised Tier 1 building services client to hire a Lead/ Senior Structural Engineer to drive design and delivery. This role focuses on complex projects, including Datacenters, across commercial and industrial sectors, offering technical leadership from concept and calculations through to commissioning.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

Degree in structural or civil engineering.
Experience delivering energy, HVAC or building services projects.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and relevant design software.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering calculations and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants and contractors to ensure project success.
Review and approve drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
Attend client and project meetings, providing technical advice.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and project delivery.
Mentor and develop junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with Australian standards, codes, and safety requirements.
Identify innovative, sustainable, and value-driven engineering solutions.
