Job summary

Peritas, a leading Australian engineering design consultancy, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Western Australia. You will lead complex commercial and industrial projects from concept to completion, sign off on critical deliverables and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

6–10 years of experience in structural engineering, with demonstrated expertise in complex commercial and industrial projects.
Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
CPEng status or working towards it; membership of Engineers Australia is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from planning to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and efficient delivery.
Sign off on calculations, drawings and reports.
Mentor and develop junior engineers and support team cohesion.
Provide technical oversight and resolve complex engineering challenges.
Represent the company in key meetings and maintain external relationships.
Conduct peer reviews of project deliverables and contribute to internal standards.
Ensure all work complies with HSEQ and regulatory requirements.
Maintain current industry knowledge and engage in professional development.
