Job summary

Cadigal Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to design, analysis and execution of diverse structural projects. You will collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, compliant solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and PE/CPEng certification, with strong software skills (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, AutoCAD) and knowledge of Australian standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in consulting or design firms.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE or CPEng certification preferred.
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards (AS 3600, AS 4100, AS 1170).
• Excellent communication and project management skills; able to lead multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry components.
• Perform calculations, simulations and modeling to ensure safety and compliance with Australian standards.
• Manage projects from concept to completion within time and budget constraints.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and regulators throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare reports, drawings and technical documents detailing design solutions.
