Qualifications

• Experience in structural engineering with bridge design and/or port infrastructure.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
• Knowledge of Australian building codes and regulatory requirements for structural design.
• Understanding of bridge engineering principles, including load analysis and construction methodologies.
• Experience with port and maritime infrastructure design, including hydraulic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze bridge structures from preliminary design to construction documentation.
• Develop structural solutions for port and maritime infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and specifications for stakeholders and regulators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers and other disciplines to integrate structural requirements.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources while maintaining quality and safety.
• Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures and identify design constraints.
• Ensure all designs comply with Australian Standards, building codes and environmental regulations.
