Job summary

WGA is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead building structures projects in South Australia. You will design, analyse, and deliver multi-storey buildings using SpaceGass, RAM Concept, RAPT and ETABS, while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

You will bring seven+ years of consultancy experience, strong leadership, and a client-focused approach to ensure high-quality outcomes across Health, Defence, Education and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum seven years post-graduate consultancy experience on building projects.
• Proven experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete for multi-storey structures.
• Experience leading projects from technical and delivery perspectives.
• Exposure to client interaction and internal stakeholder collaboration.

Our Building Structures team provides the opportunity for Engineers to design and manage a variety of secure projects and with exciting work coming up within Health, Defence, Education and mixed-use Commercial it is an exciting time!

About You

• Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering


• At least seven years of post-graduate Consultancy experience designing Buildings projects across Sports and Recreation, Education, Health, Commercial and multi-storey residential within the South Australian market


• Proven experience across structural steel and reinforced concrete for multi-storey building structures


• Experience using SpaceGass, RAM Concept, RAPT and ETABS design packages


• Ability to lead projects from both a technical and delivery perspective


• Exposure to Client interaction and desire to work with internal stakeholders to deliver the best possible design outcomes
