Job summary

WGA (Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec) invites a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of multi-storey buildings across South Australia. The role leverages SpaceGass, RAM Concept, RAPT, and ETABS to shape robust structural solutions.

You will interact with clients and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure best design outcomes while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive workplace with a strong development culture.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of post-graduate consultancy experience designing Buildings projects across SA market.
• Experience across structural steel and reinforced concrete for multi-storey building structures.
• Exposure to client interaction and coordinating with internal stakeholders to deliver design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead buildings projects from technical and delivery perspectives.
• Design across Sports, Education, Health, Commercial, and multi-storey residential sectors.

With a 44-year, rich history of quality design and delivery of Buildings projects across South Australia, WGA offers a unique chance to work with some of the most accredited and renowned Engineers both locally and nationally. Our Building Structures team provides the opportunity for Engineers to design and manage a variety of secure projects and with exciting work coming up within Health, Defence, Education and mixed-use Commercial it is an exciting time!

About you:

• Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
• At least seven years of post-graduate Consultancy experience designing Buildings projects across Sports and Recreation, Education, Health, Commercial and multi-storey residential within the South Australian market
• Proven experience across structural steel and reinforced concrete for multi-storey building structures
• Experience using SpaceGass, RAM Concept, RAPT and ETABS design packages
• Ability to lead projects from both a technical and delivery perspective
• Exposure to Client interaction and desire to work with internal stakeholders to deliver the best possible design outcomes
