Job summary

Macquarie is seeking a senior strategist with 5+ years in top-tier consulting and relevant banking/PE exposure to drive strategic initiatives across the organisation. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders on high-impact projects, including M&A, digital transformation and energy transition, contributing to value creation.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to influence across markets and businesses globally.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 from a top management consulting firm. Experience in investment banking and/or private equity will also be considered
Track record of facilitating and delivering strategic projects and / or complex transactions that produce commercially sound and practical results
Demonstrable interest in cutting edge market and technology developments, curiosity about financial markets and an entrepreneurial drive to identify opportunities
Strong team player and collaborator who is comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive Macquarie’s key strategic initiatives, spanning strategic planning, revenue growth, business development, innovation, M&A, digital transformation, energy transition, and organisational change.
Work closely with businesses, senior leaders and Corporate Development on a range of projects that make a tangible difference to the business, clients and communities.
