Job summary

Allura Partners in Sydney seeks a Senior Strategy Associate to join the Group Strategy team, working directly with the Executive Leadership Team on the five-year transformation. You will size opportunities and shape how value is captured across multiple business units, corporate functions, and digital and AI initiatives.

This role combines high-impact analytics with strategic influence, offering hybrid working from a Sydney CBD office and visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex analyses and turning insights into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced financial modelling and opportunity sizing capabilities.
• Proven ability to present to and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in MBB or tier 1.5 strategy firms, or investment banking (2–4 years).

About the Company

Our client is a leading ASX-listed group based in Sydney. The business is embarking on a five-year transformation and is building out its Group Strategy team to identify, size and capture the value that comes with it.

About the Role

As Senior Strategy Associate, you'll sit within Group Strategy and work directly with the Executive Leadership Team, including attending steering committees. You'll deliver projects across multiple business units, corporate functions, and digital and AI, sizing opportunities and shaping how value is captured across the five-year transformation.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex analysis and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations
• Build models to size strategic initiatives across the transformation program
• Assess and evaluate M&A opportunities
• Structure ambiguous problems and develop the materials that drive ELT and steering committee decisions
• Deliver projects across business units, corporate functions, and digital and AI

Skills and Experience

• Background at an MBB or tier 1.5 strategy firm, or in investment banking (typically 2 to 4 years)
• Standout analytical and logical problem solving
• Strong financial modelling capability, including opportunity sizing
• Confidence presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication
