Job summary

Georgiemane Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Storeperson to be the Warehouse Manager’s right hand. The role is hands-on with picking, packing, receiving and stock accuracy, based in Prestons NSW. You will support key warehouse processes and help ensure smooth operations when the manager is away.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in ecommerce/3PL warehousing, experience with WMS systems, and strong attention to detail. Monday–Friday 8–4, permanent contract, salary $65,000 + Super.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pick/pack experience in ecommerce or 3PL warehouse.
• Confident using a WMS and basic Excel or Google Sheets.
• Very strong attention to detail and a track record of accuracy.
• Clear communicator, comfortable dealing with colleagues face-to-face and over Slack.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including regular lifting up to 16kg and standing for long periods.
• Available Monday to Friday and able to reliably commute to Prestons.
• Pedestrian-operated forklift experience.
• Experience training staff or acting as team leader.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and quality check online and wholesale orders quickly and accurately.
• Pack and dispatch PR, influencer and marketing send-outs.
• Receive and unpack stock against purchase orders, check quantities and condition, and report discrepancies.
• Complete replenishments and keep bin locations organised and accurate.
• Manage batch and expiry rotation (first-expiry, first-out).
• Record damaged and written-off stock.
• Model safe work practices, report hazards and incidents, and keep the warehouse clean and organised.
• Liaise with the customer service team on order issues.
• Help build a positive team culture.

About the role

As our warehouse operations grow, we’re looking for a Senior Storeperson to be the Warehouse Manager’s right hand. Most of your day will be hands-on: picking, packing, receiving and keeping stock accurate. You’ll also be trained across the Warehouse Manager’s key processes so you can support them when needed and keep things running smoothly when they’re away.

Key responsibilities

Day to day

• Pick, pack and quality check online and wholesale orders quickly and accurately
• Pack and dispatch PR, influencer and marketing send-outs
• Receive and unpack stock against purchase orders, check quantities and condition, and report discrepancies to procurement

Supporting the Warehouse Manager

• Manifest dispatched orders and manage courier pickups, including chasing missed collections
• Monitor aged and stuck orders and make sure they ship
• Run weekly cycle counts and support full stocktakes
• Keep stock levels, locations and adjustments accurate in CartonCloud
• Produce daily KPI reporting
• Monitor Slack channels and action order-specific and wholesale requests
• Book and track wholesale and B2B freight
• Run opening and closing checks (alarm, doors, end-of-day dispatch confirmation)
• Train and onboard new team members on picking, packing and system processes
• Help plan and staff peak periods (sales events, Black Friday, Christmas)

About you
