Dolby in Sydney seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to lead audio/video signal processing and ML initiatives across embedded platforms. You’ll design licensable technologies and guide prototypes through to production, partnering with customers and teams worldwide.

You will apply solid DSP fundamentals, deploy ML models on edge devices, and mentor engineers while shaping the technical direction of next-generation entertainment experiences.

Qualificações

We're looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to lead the development of next-generation audio and video solutions that combine advanced signal processing, machine learning, and embedded software engineering. Design and implement licensable audio and video technologies across the full development chain – from research and prototyping, through software implementation, to testing and quality assurance – and support internal and external customers.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in DSP, embedded systems, and real-time software development.
• Deep expertise in DSP fundamentals including filtering, transforms, beamforming, noise reduction, and non-linear processing.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models on edge devices.
• Strong C/C++ development skills and understanding of processor architectures.
• Proven track record leading complex technical projects and delivering production-ready solutions.
• Experience leveraging generative AI tools to improve engineering productivity.
