CommBank is seeking a senior, hands-on technical leader to secure and govern AI agent identities in a large enterprise. You will blend identity engineering with AI security, architecting governance across agent empowerment and lifecycle controls.

You’ll mentor engineers, influence the technical direction and drive secure, scalable identity services while working on Entra ID for Agents and related platforms. This role is based in Hobart and requires cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Hands-on identity engineering experience with AI agents and security risks.
• Ability to move between architecture, code, APIs and identity platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise identity lifecycle and governance for non-human identities.
• Understanding of agentic AI threats, threat modelling and trust boundaries.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and related permissions, service principals and workload identities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering adoption of Entra ID for Agents and Agent 365, including registration, ownership, permissions and lifecycle controls.
• Establish secure engineering patterns for agent identity, authentication, authorisation, secrets and privileged operations.
• Design controls for prompt injection, excessive agency, unsafe tool use and data leakage.
• Apply Zero Trust, least privilege and scoped permissions to agent architectures.
• Build and prototype secure agentic AI capabilities to improve Identity Services workflows.
• Ensure agent activity is observable, attributable and auditable.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring engineers and simplifying obsolete architecture.
• Shape the technical roadmap for agentic AI and identity engineering.
