Job summary

Carpentaria is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants in Central Australia. You’ll be based in Alice Springs with regular travel to remote communities such as Kintore and Papunya, delivering services across home, school, clinic and community settings.

You will join a passionate multi-disciplinary Therapy Services team with Carpentaria’s 50+ year history of disability, therapy and community services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Speech Pathologist.
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Alice Springs.
• Willing to work across Central Australia with regular overnight travel.
• NDIS knowledge preferred.
• Experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants.
• Work across lifespan with children, adolescents and adults in home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Therapy Services team.
• Contribute to Territorians living their best life through disability support.
