Job summary

Carpentaria in Alice Springs seeks a Senior Speech Pathologist to deliver person-centred therapy to NDIS participants across Central Australia. You’ll be based in Alice Springs with regular travel to remote communities including Kintore and Papunya, working across the lifespan in home, school, clinic and community settings.

You’ll join a passionate multi-disciplinary Therapy Services team supported by Carpentaria’s 50+ year history of not-for-profit disability, therapy and community services for

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Speech Pathologist.
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Alice Springs.
• Willing to work across Central Australia with regular overnight travel by 4WD.
• Commitment to innovative, person-centred services that promote choice and control.
• Knowledge of the NDIS (preferred).
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples (preferred).
