Job summary

Aussie Locums is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to support remote communities in FNQ. The role involves travel to Cape York, starting January or February for an initial 3-month locum with possible extension.

You will work with both adult and paediatric clients and lead the allied health team in delivering culturally appropriate care. Based in Cairns, you will join an AH team that travels weekly to communities, staying in shared accommodation.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registered allied health professional.
• Relevant senior-level experience in speech pathology.
• Ability to develop strategy and lead a team to improve outcomes.
• Open to travelling to all communities in the region.

Responsibilities

• Treat both adult and paediatric clients in remote communities.
• Travel with the allied health team and stay in shared accommodation.
• Provide culturally appropriate assessment and intervention.
