Job summary

Brightwater Care Group Ltd. is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Capacity Building – Allied Health team on a permanent part-time basis. The role balances hands-on clinic work with leadership, mentoring, research and service improvement initiatives.

You’ll provide expert services for clients with complex communication and swallowing needs, including dysphagia management, while mentoring colleagues across a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision responsibilities in neurological disability care.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Significant clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist with leadership roles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current SPA membership and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Speech Pathology services to a varied caseload with complex needs.
• Offer clinical expertise in assessment and management of complex dysphagia.
• Support and develop fellow clinicians across a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead service improvement initiatives within capacity-building allied health.
