Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking a founding Solutions Engineer to join our fast-growing Sydney team to help clients integrate our online payments platform. You’ll lead technical engagement across the sales lifecycle and collaborate with Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams.

You are independent, high-achieving, and able to outperform targets in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll stay up-to-date with industry standards and act as a platform expert for ANZ leads.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect / Pre-Sales Consultant / Implementation Engineer or TAM.
• Experience in a technical client-facing role.
• Able to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial team to position Checkout.com’s products, solutions, and services and help win deals.
• Understand merchant requirements and map to APIs and products; create solution designs.
• Run demos, build payment flows, create POCs, presentations.
• Lead all technical interactions with merchants until the deal is won.
