Job summary

Starburst is seeking a Senior Solution Architect in Australia to partner with field sales, own technical aspects of the sales cycle, and deliver compelling demonstrations and workshops to customers.

You will define success criteria, run proofs of value, design demos and reference architectures, and work with engineering to ensure customer success. Travel approximately 25% to onboarding and events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge.
• Ability to design scalable data architectures and migrations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Starburst capabilities and deliver technical sales sessions.
• Lead customer proof-of-concept studies and evaluations.
• Define success criteria and qualification process with prospects.
• Architect demos, reference architectures, and custom integrations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Support for customer issues.
• Travel ~25% for onboarding, workshops, and events.
