Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to uplift technology standards and controls across the RITS ecosystem. This 12‑month fixed‑term role will define high‑level architectures, drive certification, and collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure secure, reliable payment infrastructure.
You will lead conceptual and solution architectures, manage dependencies, and contribute to automation and DevOps practices within a complex financial domain.
This is a unique opportunity for you to join Reserve Bank of Australia that owns and operates RITS, Australia's real-time gross settlement system. You will support the Payments Operations Program which is uplifting the operation, IT controls and governance of a payments system that moves around $230 billion dollars between financial institutions each day and ultimately settles all non‑cash payments in Australia.
In the Payments Operations Program, you will work with both business and IT departments which manage RITS to promote the public interest by ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient functioning of critical national infrastructure, which is essential to support the day‑to‑day business of the Australian economy.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect who will contribute to uplifting technology standards and controls aligned to COBIT 2019, ISO 27001, RBA's Enterprise Control Standard for systems related to the RITS ecosystem. This position is a 12 month Fixed‑Term Contract.
