Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to uplift technology standards and controls across the RITS ecosystem. This 12‑month fixed‑term role will define high‑level architectures, drive certification, and collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure secure, reliable payment infrastructure.

You will lead conceptual and solution architectures, manage dependencies, and contribute to automation and DevOps practices within a complex financial domain.

Qualifications

• Define solutions architectures, high‑level designs, and impact assessments for initiatives and systems.
• Own Architecture deliverables and ensure endorsement by stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analysts to define business requirements and develop high level designs.
• Scope initiatives with project managers to align with architectural objectives.
• Produce architectures for complex solutions including infrastructure, cloud, on‑premise and hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Drive Architectural Certification process to completion for key project deliverables.
• Identify and document dependencies with other projects/systems.
• Promote and implement controls based on COBIT/ISO 27001.
