Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing optimisation of Workday solutions across HCM, Payroll, Recruiting and Financials.

You will work with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable Workday solutions aligned to organisational requirements, best practices, and governance. The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, testing, and training delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and configuring Workday solutions across multiple modules.
• Experience in HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Financials, Absence or Benefits.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process Frameworks (BPF).
• Experience configuring business processes, workflows, and approvals.
• Experience with EIBs, data migration and conversion activities.
• Strong requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate requirements into functional designs and configurations.
• Knowledge of Workday security roles and access controls.
• Experience developing Workday reports (standard, advanced, matrix).
• Experience with Core Connectors, Studio and Web Services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Workday implementations across HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Financials, Benefits, and Absence modules.
• Configure Workday business processes, organisations, frameworks, and policies.
• Design and maintain Workday security roles, user access, and domain security policies.
• Develop and support Standard, Advanced, and Matrix reports.
• Create calculated fields to support reporting and integrations.
• Provide functional support for integrations including Core Connectors, Studio, and Web Services.
• Coordinate integration activities with technical and development teams.
• Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and validation documentation.
• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, deployment activities, and hypercare support.
• Perform impact assessments for Workday releases and evaluate new features.
• Create end-user documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer.
• Deliver user training sessions and stakeholder workshops.
• Act as the functional SME for assigned Workday modules.
