Advanced Navigation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead navigation and state-estimation algorithm development for high-precision sensing systems. You will craft software architectures from product specs, implement robust state estimation, and design diverse sensor-fusion solutions for real-time embedded environments.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on navigation algorithm development, sensor fusion, or state estimation.
• Programming & Tools: Proficiency in C, C++, and Python, alongside MATLAB.
• Core Domain Knowledge: Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), GNSS integration, and sensor calibration methodologies.
• Estimation Techniques: Experience developing and deploying robust state estimation and sensor fusion architectures.
• Simulation & Testing: 6-DOF simulation, algorithm validation, and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) setups.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret product and system-level specifications to create software architectures and navigation algorithms.
• Develop and implement stochastic state estimation techniques and algorithms for navigation and online calibration.
• Design sensor-fusion solutions using inertial, magnetic, GNSS, optical, or ranging sensors.
• Develop and evaluate position and orientation estimation algorithms within 6-DOF simulations.
• Conduct performance and uncertainty analysis using Monte Carlo simulations and covariance evaluations.
• Collaborate with hardware, system, and production teams to integrate algorithms into embedded platforms.
• Perform HWIL testing and algorithm verification to validate system performance.
• Evaluate field/test data to identify and resolve anomalies.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures in Jira and maintain ticket hygiene.
• Document software architectures, test specs, and execution procedures.
