Job summary

IT Alliance Australia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Developer) for roles across Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. The role focuses on secure coding, DevOps, and modern software delivery using C# .NET and REST APIs, with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and JavaScript expertise.

Responsibilities include pipeline automation, release management, performance monitoring and technical documentation to support scalable ICT solutions for a Federal Government client.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering secure, scalable ICT solutions with modern coding practices.
• Ability to design and implement RESTful services and database queries.

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Software Engineer (Developer) in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Experience with secure coding, testing, CI/CD, PowerShell automation, release management, performance monitoring, incident resolution, technical documentation and collaboration to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable ICT solutions is essential.
• Design, develop, enhance and support applications using C# .NET, REST APIs, Oracle 11g/12c PL/SQL, JavaScript and VB6 to meet operational and business requirements.
• Perform DevOps and automation activities, including CI/CD pipeline management, PowerShell scripting, Citrix administration and continuous improvement of build, deployment and release processes.
• Demonstrate expertise in software engineering, systems integration, DevOps and application support, including C# .NET, REST APIs, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, JavaScript, VB6 and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration.
