Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Federal Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on designing and delivering cloud-native solutions using AWS services, with emphasis on serverless and containerised architectures.

The successful candidate will translate business requirements into secure, scalable software, perform testing and QA, and investigate production incidents to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Software Engineer in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Building event-driven, serverless and containerised solutions leveraging AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, Event Bridge, SNS, SQS and Step Functions.
• Translating business requirements and user stories into high-quality, secure, scalable and resilient cloud-based software solutions.
• Performing testing, code reviews and quality assurance including unit, integration, automated testing and defect resolution.
• Investigating, analysing and resolving production incidents, defects and performance issues.
