Boeing Defence Australia seeks a Senior Software Engineer to support the Battlespace Communication System AIR6500. You’ll work on the MSM application, improving front-end and back-end functionality within a hybrid in-office/work-from-home setup.

Applicants must be Australian citizens eligible for an Australian Defence security clearance and hold a tertiary engineering or related technical degree. Defence experience is valued, along with Linux security knowledge.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen eligible to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience within Defence or complex engineering project environments.
• Backend or frontend software language and open-source package knowledge desirable.
• Experience building secure applications on Linux.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to development of robust networking and communications software with a focus on cyber security, scalability and performance.
• Design, development, integration and test of integrated hardware and software systems.
• Write code to solve complex problems.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback.
