Job summary

NDIA invites applications from Australian citizens with NV1 clearance for the APS6 Engineer (Labour Hire) role in Canberra. You will lead a software engineering team, oversee system design, and build CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes containers.

Responsibilities

Implement new systems, applications and integrations following NDIA architectural principles.
Design and implement software and CI/CD pipelines including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerised apps for Kubernetes.
Play a pivotal role in an agile project team, contributing to problem solving and decision making.
Document all design and development work and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
Ensure software meets NDIA security and accessibility requirements and standards.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT teams to ensure solutions are viable and fit for purpose, with early test coverage (shift-left).
Deliver pragmatic, value-for-money solutions aligned with project priorities.
